Our In Person Services

In Addition to the remote consulting services Divergent Outdoors offers we are proud to introduce our fleet of In person services. Ranging from Individually created lesson plans to enhance a individual childs love of learning, called Learning Time, to in person trainings for your organization. Even tho we are based in Anchorage Alaska we are willing to fly to your organization to give our services to enhance the learning of your students. For all in person services please schedule a free 15 minute information session so that we can talk and see if Divergent Outdoors is the right fit for your particular needs.

Mini Adventure Tutoring

Does your child seem to dislike the idea of “learning”, is traditional tutoring not working ? Welcome to Mini Adventure Tutoring. In mini adventure tutoring we aim to help reinspire a childs love of learning by creating mini lesson plans based off of things they are already interested about or could be interested about. We over time will adjust these plans to incorporate what they are learning in school and help to reinspire a love of learning. This is not tutoring to just pass a test , this is tutoring to help reignite the love of learning. We will work on homework skills as well as executive functioning skills alongside the individual lesson plans. Our tutors are also trained in how to read treatment plans so we are able to help further reinforce the skills you may be working on in a therapy setting. This is whole person tutoring.

Example Price (We operate on a sliding scale): 60 a hour for a basic session after a free 15 minute consultation

In Person Neurodivergent Trainings

This is a cornerstone of Divergent Outdoors. After scheduling a free 15 minute info session, Divergent Outdoors will create a customized neurodivergent training that is specific to your companies or organizations needs.

If you are a climbing guiding company we may focus on risk management and alternative commands for non verbal individuals for example. Another example is that if you are a overnight summer camp we may discuss more of how to establish routines and work on how to make transitions as easy as possible for those in your summer camp. Every training is customized to best fit your individual needs. Schedule a free 15 minute information session below to learn more.
